About me

I am an independent Will Writer based in Stoke Newington, London.

I read History at Queen Mary University of London. I went on to take the Common Professional Examination and Law Society Finals and qualified as a solicitor in 1989.

Throughout my career as a solicitor I specialised in criminal litigation and mental health law. I spent the first fifteen years in private practice, first at Fisher Meredith, and then at Hickman and Rose, where I became a partner. I then spent nine years as a solicitor at the Crown Prosecution Service where I held a number of senior positions including Borough Crown Prosecutor and Head of a specialist prosecution team in London. Since leaving the CPS in 2013 I have not practised as a solicitor.

I am a registered member of the Society of Will Writers (membership number SM61073108/15) and am compliant with their Code of Practice and continuing professional development requirements. I carry public indemnity insurance up to a limit of £2.5 million.
